From time to time NARA gathers information on human care regulation or regulatory practices. Reports may be offered free or at a reduced price to members.

NARA's National Council authorizes collaboration with other organizations on appropriate activities of mutual benefit, including grant applications. From time to time, the National Council may issue position statements on matters of special significance to the field.
